Great scope for a pellet rifle

I put this on my Gamo Whisper to replace the crummy one that came on it. The Gamo scope would not focus shorter than 30 feet and had about 3/4" parallax at that distance. The Bushnell Multi-X Trophy greatly reduced the size of the groups and has not lost accuracy after about 250 shots. The parallax adjusting ring assures a sharp focus at all ranges. I had called Bushnell prior to purchase to confirm it was constructed to use on a spring pellet rifle. I am very pleased with it.

Mounted this scope on my Remingron 760 30/06 and sighted it in today. After a few shots at the range I was on the bullseye at 100 yards. Very pleased with the Bushnell Multi-X Trophy and for the cost you cannot go wrong. I spent hours here on line and at my local sporting gooods stores and am 100% satisfied with my purchase. Flip up covers interefere with functionality

This probably would be a great scope but it didn't even make it to the range and spent a wopping 10 minutes on my Remington 750. This may be just a minor issue for some but when I drop $170 on something I want it to function. The Butler Creek flip up covers look really cool, however they interfere with the adjustment of both lenses. They do come off with a little effort but, then what's the point of having flip ups. The old school lens covers should be packaged with this Item either alone or in addition. I was going to send it back bit I think I'll take off the flip ups and find an aftermarket scope cover.Bushnell makes a good product but this particular packaging combination has me scratching my head.
