5Perfect for a .22 and maybe even larger.
By P. G.
I tried one of these on my Sig556 with pleasing results before I upgraded to a nicer scope with more bells and whistles.
I then moved this bad boy to my Sig522 and I tell you what....I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!
I posted a picture of my target(on the main page) after getting dialed in which didn't take too long.
It was from a rested position, at 50 yards on the max power. Ammo was Federal 36gr bulk that you can get at Wal*Mart or Cabela's.
The scope itself comes with lenses covers(one clear, one amber) and some really low weaver style rings. The supplied rings won't mount to a standard 1913 rail so they will need to be replaced.
The 30/30 recticle is easy to use and the glass isn't bad for what you pay for.
I will say that long periods of shooting with my "fancier" scope will blur my eyes a bit and I will eventually end up having trouble focusing my eye(not the scope). But with this BSA that was never and issue. It didn't hurt my eyes after extended periods of use and I was able to maintain focus for longer periods of time over my 200.00 scope.
I have another one that I plan on taking to the range and putting on my Sig556 to see if I like it better than my 200.00 scope.
The only downside to this scope is that it doesn't have a dedicated focus adjustment. If you're zoomed in too much for a target that is too close it will be fuzzy and you'll need to back off the power until you get a clear picture.
Other than that, I have not one problem with this product and will gladly buy more if I need to.
Construction seems sturdy and appears to hold a zero well.

4Good scope for 22 caliber rimfire
By den
I like this scope because it has good clarity and it holds its zero well.
I bought this scope because my eyes aren't as good as when I was younger.
It brings up the target very sharply and I am able to draw a good sight pattern on it.
I would recommend this to others.

1Cheap piece of ****
By AR15_Shooter
This product is cheap plastic and feels like it will break on the first shot. I have been scouring Amazon for a scope and had a BSA scope for my .22LR which is a wonderful scope. I get this one and take it out of the box and it is cheap plastic. I figure that whatever, you get what you pay for (though $50 is a bit steep). Then I put the scope on my AR15 and what do I discover...that the rings don't allow enough height for the lens covers to stay on and that the scope is scraping against my Weaver rail. not only that but I have to shove my face against my stock just to see out of the scope, I cannot imagine firing this and having my face rest against the stock while it shoots. I wont even bother taking it out to the range to see how it shoots. If the manufacturer doesn't care about the little things like making sure that there is enough height on the provided rings then I wont trust them to make a quality product at all. I am going to likely end up at Cabelas or somewhere like that looking for a scope because I cannot find anything on amazon.
